Mission Briefing - April Tickets Are Live, New Cabinets Imminent and The Spectrum brings us back to 1982...
First up thanks to everyone who made it along to South Belfast’s first ever retro arcade at the Northern Lights. We had a ball and we hope you did too, the feedback was amazing both for the selection of games and also for the venue. Sold out nights at our first event was just swell. And people loved the retro food menu and in particular the Pac-Man burger, great wee innovation there from the kitchen!
We’re coming back for weekend two on April 11th - 13th and we’ll be mixing it up a little with some brand new games and consoles. We’ll have some excellent two player footy fun in the guise of the arcade classic Super Sidekicks, some bomb-stealing mayhem in Bombjack and, since it’s nearly Easter, a bunch of fluffy Kiwis freeing their world of cartoon evil in New Zealand Story.

We’ve also managed to get our mucky paws on The Spectrum a great wee rubber keyed wonder clone of a console and we’ve loaded it up with what we think is every Spectrum game ever made from the classic era. Whether you loved a bit of werewolf morphing in Knight Lore, going mad with your catty in Skool Daze or beating the malt out of gang bangers in Target:Renegade it’ll all be catered for.
Not only that we’ll have a gigantic 4 player Mario Kart setup on the go too; peachy.
Early bird tickets are available now at only £12 for 16+ and £6.50 for the nippers grab em before they go up to their regular price.
